At Camp Wingate*Kirkland, we believe that every child deserves a joyful and confidence-building summer. Our summer day camp is specially designed for children ages 4 to 12 who aren’t quite ready for overnight camp but still want to experience the magic of camp life.
We’ve created a program that blends fun, learning, and community all under the guidance of dedicated staff who care deeply about your child’s well-being. Whether it’s their first time at camp or they’re returning for another unforgettable summer, your child will grow, laugh, and thrive here.

How Our Day Camp Works
Our summer day camp is a structured yet flexible program that meets families where they are. With clear groupings based on grade and thoughtful scheduling, we offer a camp experience that grows with your child.
Groupings by Lodge
Campers are divided into five “Lodges” based on the grade they just completed before the summer begins:

Lodge 20: Pre-K (must be 4 years old by January 1)

Lodge 21: Kindergarten

Lodge 22: 1st & 2nd Grade

Lodge 23: 3rd & 4th Grade

Lodge 24: 5th & 6th Grade
These groupings help children connect with peers at similar developmental stages, while allowing counselors to tailor instruction and support.
Program Hours That Work for Families
We understand that families have different schedules, so our summer day camp offers flexible hours:

Lodges 20 & 21: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Lodges 22–24 & their Siblings: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
