Our Activities

The daily choice program at Wingate*Kirkland incorporates athletics, arts & crafts, swimming, boating, performing arts and community service while encouraging individuality and ensuring skill development. The variety creates experience for campers to discover who they are and to follow their own passions and interests. We offer children activities in a variety of areas such as sports, drama and arts in a supportive environment where they can try new things and not be afraid to fail.

I’m writing to let you know what an amazing time Austyn had at your camp this summer. This was her first time there so she was a little hesitant, however her counselors made her feel right at home immediately!! She would talk all about Sasha, Dave and Keaton! Sasha was one of her all time favorites!! They would make friendship bracelets and play games during the day it made Austyn so happy! Austyn was a good swimmer when she arrived at camp however after taking lessons from Keaton all I can say WOW!! He is an amazing teacher!! She said he and Dave are the best swim teachers! Austyn hopes they come back next summer!! She also said the Chef was amazing!!

The most important 7 weeks of the year for our son is the time he spends at Camp WK. The personal growth that we see from him after each summer has been tremendous. He attends a very intense school in New York City, so being able to spend the summer in such an amazing, relaxed environment allows him to recharge his batteries and perform better as a student the following school year. We are thrilled with Camp WK and happy to speak to any parents considering sending their child there.
