Waterfront Activities at Summer Camp

Welcome to the heart of the summer experience: Waterfront Activities at Summer Camp. At Camp W*K, the waterfront is more than just a place to cool off—it’s where summer stories begin. Campers laugh, play, and grow their confidence in a setting that blends unforgettable water adventures with exceptional attention to safety.

Whether your camper is catching their first fish, paddling across Elisha’s Pond, or flying down our giant water trampoline slide, one thing is certain—they’re smiling. Our certified lifeguards and trained counselors ensure every splash is safe, and every moment is magical.

“There’s something about the water that brings everyone together.”

From day one, campers are immersed in age-appropriate water fun that boosts their comfort, independence, and joy outdoors.

Endless Waterfront Activities at Summer Camp

Our counselors design creative programming that maximizes the use of our waterfront. Whether it’s sport, exploration, or pure play, our campers engage in a wide range of waterfront activities at summer camp including:

Some of the activities you may see down by the water:

  • Paddle Boarding
  • Water Trampoline
  • Canoeing
  • Fishing
  • Corcling
  • Sailing
  • Kayaking
  • Olympic Diving
  • Tips for living like a mermaid
  • Skim Boarding
  • Log Rolling
  • ….and that’s just the beginning

…and that’s just a splash of what’s offered! The only limit to Elisha’s Pond is a camper’s imagination. It’s common to find campers using the pond for science experiments, peaceful reflection, or spontaneous games that spark lasting friendships.

If your camper loves the water, this is their paradise.

Building Confidence Through Swimming

We believe that swimming is more than fun—it’s a life skill. That’s why all campers join a swim group suited to their comfort and ability level. Our certified instructors guide them to improve technique, gain strength, and enjoy water safely.

By their final year in the Challenge program, campers may take part in our Lifeguard Certification Course, preparing them with real-world skills and leadership training they’ll carry beyond Camp.

At Camp W*K, Waterfront Activities at Summer Camp are rooted in growth, safety, and pure summer joy.
