Contacting Your Camper

Phone Calls

We believe that open communication is an essential part of our community, and that children should be allowed to speak with their families. However, we have found that calls from home can make the transition into Camp difficult for some campers. In an effort to assist all campers to adapting and adjusting to Camp life and routines, we will not allow any phone calls until after the first week of each session. Phones will be available for outgoing calls only on alternating days from 5-6 PM Monday through Saturday.

Families are welcome to call the office at any time to speak with Sandy, Will and Daria. We are happy to have a conversation with you about your child’s experience and happiness. We can be reached at 508.362.3798.

Campers are not allowed to bring cell phones to camp. One of the goals of camp is to learn to free oneself of some material items in exchange for the group living experience. Please help us in maintaining this environment by being sure that your child leaves their cell phone at home.

Mail

All campers love to get mail. Please write early and often. A letter waiting for your child in their mailbox when they arrive is especially helpful. When writing to your camper please address your correspondence like this:

One Way Email & Online Photo Gallery

Camp Wingate*Kirkland provides a service for families to send one-way emails to their child at Camp that we will print and deliver to your camper daily just like regular mail.

This service also includes photos from camp that you can view at home. We make every effort to upload photos to the Camp Gallery every 24 hours.

  • Parents may also create guest email/photo accounts for friends and other family members.

You can access our system through the W*K Parents Login or via the Campanion app using your same username and password.
