Preparing for Camp

Drop Off & Pick Up

Time for a puppet show!

Drop Off:
W*K Day Camp begins promptly at 8:30 AM. Cars may follow the dirt road to the Covered Bridge to be greeted by our Day Camp staff who will open the car door and bring your child to their group. Families should remain in the car until they reach the drop off point. You will be asked to sign your child in.

If your camper is having difficulty at drop off, please leave promptly – you can be sure that W*K staff will make your camper comfortable and get him/her into the flow of the daily camp schedule.

Pick Up:
LODGES 20, 21 & 22: The day ends promptly at 4:00PM. Families may line up in the carpool line. Kindly remain in your cars and allow the Day Camp staff to escort your child to the car. Siblings of Lodge 23 & 24 campers may be picked up at 5:00PM with no extended day fee.

LODGE 23 & 24: The day ends at 5:00 PM. Families may line up in the carpool line. Kindly remain in your cars and allow the Day Camp staff to escort your child to the car.

Extended Stay:
For busy Camp families, our staff offers programming until 5:00 PM for an additional charge of $15/child/day.

Schedule Change Policy:
We understand that situations may arise which prevent your child from coming to camp on a scheduled day. Given the complexities of our schedule, days may not be exchanged or traded for any reason.

Pending availability, extra days can be added to an existing week’s schedule. Requests must be made in writing to and confirmed by Office Staff.

What’s this LODGE you keep referring to?
The ‘Lodge’ is their group. Campers are assigned to their ‘lodge’ based on the grade they have just completed:
LODGE 20: PreK (enrolled in or completed)
LODGE 22: 1st or 2nd grade
LODGE 23: 3rd or 4th grade
LODGE 24: 5th or 6th grade

What do I do if my camper is absent, arriving late or will be picked up early?
Please call the Camp office at 508.362.3798 to let us know if your child will be absent from camp, arriving late or will be picked up early. If your child is arriving late or will be picked up early, please park in the parking lot and come to the Office.

What if someone other than a legal guardian will be picking up my camper?
Please call our office at 508.362.3798 with the name of the person. This person must show photo identification upon arrival at Camp and before picking up your camper.

What should I do if my camper is sick?
For the safety of all of our campers and staff at W*K, please keep your child at home if they are not feeling well and call the Office at 508.362.3798 to let us know.

If during the course of the day your child is seen at the Health Center for any reason, you will receive a phone call from one of our Health Center staff. Health Center phone: 508.362.1975.

Can I send snacks with my camper?
Please do not send your camper with any snacks. Camp W*K provides lunch and delicious snacks throughout the day.
